SIA Amber Wood co-finances a study on acute oak wilt disease

Acute oak wilt, which is one of the most dangerous tree diseases, has been confirmed this summer for oaks in Ranķu parish, Ungurmuiz, Murjāņi, Bebrene parish and Vecsaliena, according to the information released by the State Forestry Service.
In order to determine the way forward, for mutual cooperation scientific Within the framework of the project, the State Forest Service, the Forest Research Station, the Latvian State Institute of Forestry Science "Silava", the State Plant Protection Service and the SIA "Amber agreed wood". The project has been prepared for a period of three years and provides a solution development to limit acute forging of oaks in Talsi hills MPS in the territory, which, if necessary, is also applicable to the rest of Latvia Territory.
