A new boiler house was commissioned

The volume of production is increasing every year. Production areas are also increasing. In order to ensure the necessary heat capacity for wood drying and space heating, we started building a new boiler house last year.
The heating system was designed and the equipment was supplied by the Finnish company "Biofire OY" . The construction of the building was carried out by "Mītava celtnieks". Total investments - close to one million EUR.
The initial settings for the design were to create a wood chip boiler house, which without additional filters is able to meet the EU environmental requirements expected in 2023 and will provide heat in the coming years by tripling the production volume.
The first winter, the new boiler house worked in test mode. We are very satisfied with the results - fuel consumption has decreased, the amount of ash has decreased, the equipment has worked without interruptions in fully automatic mode all season.
